Board of Trustees

Star Teachings Society is always looking for people to serve on the Board of Trustees. The Board will include among other members a President, a Vice-President, a recording secretary, a Treasurer, and other jobs as deemed necessary by the Board. The Board will also work with two non-voting members, a liaison between the Board and the Blue Flame Counsel, and the TEAS Ambassador. The Board of Trustees for the STS will be responsible for monthly meetings with the Blue Flame Counsel as well as meetings to discuss and work on the business of running the STS. The Board will be responsible for the budget for the STS, which will include handling the banking needs of both the Blue Flame Counsel and the Board of Trustees. The Board will determine the budget on a monthly basis as to where all the donation money is to be allotted. They will have policies and procedures for all of the duties of the STS Board of Trustees. All members of the Board of Trustees who have received no financial compensation for their work for the STS will be able to record an exchange for the time they work for the STS Board of Trustees as long as they are a member of the Time Initiative of Maine.
