  • Work for Social Change

If you care a lot about democracy and want to give your time for it, you may record your hours here. The TimeBank supports your effort to make your government and your community hear your voice. If you give testimony, attend rallies, or help to educate others to governmental decisions, as well as other activities that assist in social change for a better community, we value that. Do you help others vote, learn about issues, or write letters to the editor? If you are working for a group, please ask them to become a member of the time bank--but in the meantime, log your hours here. The TimeBank itself does not promote candidates, attempt to influence legislation, or otherwise play a political role, but we respect the right of our members to volunteer their time as activists and we believe that working for democracy is valuable work--and largely taken for granted.
