A bunch of us are currently working on a big project to make the time banks super successful and popular with lots more members exchanging cool services. (You can see the project details in my bio.) Sometimes when/if I am in or near your town teaching one or more classes about the time bank, it would be great to have a place to stay to avoid driving back and forth. Sometimes it's only for a night and sometimes it might be for more than one night depending how many classes I am teaching and/or what meetings I have been asked to attend.
I bring my Thermarest pad so I do NOT need a bed or dresser or closet.
If the location has cell phone reception and/or internet, that’s great but not absolutely necessary. I sometimes write quietly at night so it would be great to have a place with good lighting where I can sit up and type even while other people sleep. That could be in the same room or area as where I sleep, or it could be in a common area of the house. I tend to be very quiet when others are sleeping so I probably won’t bother anyone with noise, even if I’m up writing. I don’t necessarily need a chair or table to sit at because I can bring in a folding chair and a folding tray table to put my laptop on if no desk/table is available.
I can bring my own food unless you want to eat together and provide food. I usually tend to bring some of my own food anyway even when eating with people. I like to be as self sufficient and independent as a host wants me to be.
Thanks.
Take care, Pam
